Job Summary
A company is looking for a Translator, Editor, and Transcriber for legal linguistic services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide accurate translation, editing, and transcription of legal documents and audio files between Samoan and English
- Edit legal documents and audio transcriptions while ensuring adherence to style guides and quality standards
- Review and certify the work quality of other translators as needed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- At least 3 years of experience in legal translation and/or editing between English and a foreign language
- At least 3 years of experience in audio transcription with relevant software proficiency
- Familiarity with legal terminology in both English and the target foreign language
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAT tools, such as SDL Trados
