Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant responsible for recording transactions in accordance with GAAP and preparing journal entries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Close the books monthly in accordance with GAAP, including journal entry preparation and account reconciliations
• Analyze period-over-period results and provide commentary on variances
• Automate and streamline processes and assist with the integration of acquired practices into accounting processes

Required Qualifications:

• At least 4 years of progressive experience as an accounting professional
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Public accounting experience with strong knowledge of GAAP
• Experience with large scale ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday)
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment
