Senior Elasticsearch Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Elasticsearch Engineer (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and automate clusters for data components like Cassandra, ElasticSearch/OpenSearch, Kafka, Zookeeper, MySQL, and PostgreSQL
• Develop infrastructure services to support a full DevOps model
• Troubleshoot time-sensitive production issues in collaboration with Engineering and Customer Support

Required Qualifications

• Extensive experience with large-scale datastores including Cassandra, ElasticSearch, Kafka, Zookeeper, and MySQL
• Experience in large-scale, business-critical Linux environments
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (Chef or Salt) and/or strong Ruby experience
• Experience operating within cloud environments, preferably Amazon Web Services
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Engineering
