A company is looking for a Senior Employee Benefits Underwriter to join their team remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate group employee benefits cases, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability plans
- Analyze demographic data, claims experience, and industry trends to assess risk and project future expenses
- Collaborate with account management to ensure alignment on client strategies and assist with renewal processes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Math, Business, Finance, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in employee benefits underwriting and/or data analysis
- Experience with self-funded plans and stop loss insurance
- Strong knowledge of group health, dental, and ancillary products
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications
