Senior Patient Account Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Senior Representative-Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct follow-up activities on accounts to resolve outstanding balances in a timely manner
• Assist in training new or existing staff and provide support for team members facing backlogs
• Research and resolve complex medical claim issues, documenting all actions taken on accounts

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• 2-5 years of experience in medical/hospital insurance-related collections
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate various system applications
• Intermediate knowledge of insurance billing, collections, and terminology
• Minimum typing requirement of 45 words per minute
