Senior Wireless Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Wireless Engineer to lead a wireless modernization initiative.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design, deployment, configuration, and tuning of Cisco 9800 Wireless LAN Controllers
• Migrate wireless infrastructure from legacy Cisco controllers to the 9800 platform
• Develop and maintain wireless standards, configuration guides, and operational runbooks

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco wireless LAN architectures
• Proven track record deploying and migrating to Cisco 9800-series controllers
• Proficiency with Ekahau Pro for site surveys and predictive modeling
• Experience with Cisco Catalyst Center and Prime-replacement module
• Strong understanding of 802.11 standards and RF design principles
