Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director - Sourcing to manage sourcing and contracting delivery supporting sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Travel Buyers/Sourcing Managers and oversee supplier sourcing and contracting activities
• Provide sales support through training and competitive intelligence on destination and hotel pricing
• Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships to enhance market benefits for clients

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Business, or equivalent experience required
• Minimum of 7 years' prior industry experience in purchasing, proposal development, or event management
• At least 2 years of experience in travel purchasing with knowledge of hotel contract components
• Proven hotel purchasing experience and high-level negotiation skills required
• Experience leading direct reports and managing cross-functional teamwork preferred
