A company is looking for an Underwriting Helpdesk.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely support and guidance to Sales, Underwriting, and Operations staff on loan scenarios and guidelines
- Maintain communication with Loan Officers, Underwriters, and Processors, addressing their underwriting questions
- Research agency guidelines and maintain the Self-Employed Income Dashboard for accurate income calculations
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with FHA, VA, Conventional, USDA, and HFA guidelines
- Complete knowledge of the mortgage industry and related agencies
- Familiarity with RESPA requirements and Good Faith Estimate preparation
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite and Encompass Loan Origination system is preferred
