Job Summary
A company is looking for a Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed reviews of clinical documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Identify and communicate opportunities for documentation improvement to healthcare providers
- Provide education and training to healthcare staff on best practices for clinical documentation
Required Qualifications
- CCDS, CDIP, RHIA, RHIT or other relevant credential from AAPC and/or AHIMA
- A minimum of 3 years' CDI experience, preferably in a client-facing role
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle protected health information (PHI)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Strong technological skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly
