A company is looking for a Workers Compensation Claims Representative to assist hospitals and medical providers in resolving accounts related to work-related injuries.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a queue of Workers' Compensation accounts and ensure timely follow-up with involved parties
- Submit insurance bills and documentation to Workers' Compensation carriers and manage appeals for denied claims
- Provide customer service support to patients and coordinate with clients to meet reimbursement guidelines
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED; some college coursework preferred
- 1-5 years of related experience in medical billing, claims adjudication, or insurance
- Strong customer service background with a positive attitude
- Proficiency in data entry, MS Office applications, and web-based applications
- Ability to manage a large workload with strong organizational and time management skills
