Remote Litigation Paralegal

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Litigation Paralegal.

Key Responsibilities

• Open and maintain matters in the case management system and handle incoming mail and service of process
• Assist in reviewing and preparing legal pleadings and discovery responses
• Coordinate correspondence with outside counsel and manage the lifecycle of legal matters

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited college and paralegal certification or a bachelor's degree from an accredited college
• Two (2) or more years of experience working as a paralegal
• Two (2) or more years of experience in the mortgage banking industry
• Two (2) or more years of experience with litigation case management systems, preferably Legal Tracker
• Solid working knowledge of mortgage servicing, lending, and litigation
