Key Responsibilities

• Create hospital and physician estimates and obtain authorization requirements
• Contact patients to provide benefit education and secure payment at the time of service
• Handle patient inquiries regarding billing and assist with financial assistance and payment plans

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• No licensure or certification required
• Two years of experience in hospital or physician insurance-related activities
• Advanced knowledge of insurance billing and collections
• Intermediate knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 codes
