Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Engineer, AppSec.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teams to enhance the security posture of the AWS environment and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) security measures
• Conduct security assessments and integrate security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Monitor security alerts, respond to incidents, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity roles, focusing on application, infrastructure, or cloud security
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Go, or JavaScript
• Strong understanding of AWS services and security features, as well as Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and security testing integration
