Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Engineer to design and implement security solutions for cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, evaluate, test, and implement security tools and services for cloud workloads and networks
• Collaborate with IT and Product teams to integrate security solutions across various environments
• Automate security processes and monitor security strategies in partnership with security leadership and operations teams

Required Qualifications

• MS/BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel and securing solutions in hybrid cloud environments
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
• Knowledge of security best practices and frameworks like NIST, ISO, and OWASP
• Experience with automation using Powershell, Python, Bash, or Go
