Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Engineer to design and implement security solutions for cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Designs, evaluates, tests, implements, and configures production security tools and services
• Partners with Product and IT teams to implement cohesive security solutions across diverse computing environments
• Identifies and automates security processes and practices

Required Qualifications

• MS/BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel and securing solutions in hybrid cloud environments
• Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
• Experience with Azure Arc, Azure Monitoring Agent, Microsoft Defender, and Prisma Cloud
• Knowledge of security best practices and common security frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and OWASP
