Senior Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Application Security Engineer who will ensure secure software development practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a Threat Modeling program to enhance Secure by Design SDLC processes
• Conduct static and dynamic application security assessments and communicate vulnerabilities
• Mentor developers on secure coding best practices and facilitate collaboration between development and security teams

Required Qualifications

• 8 years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 2 years with an Advanced Degree
• 3+ years of relevant application security experience
• Deep understanding of OWASP Top 10 and CWE 25
• Experience with SAST, DAST, and Open-Source Vulnerability Scanning tools
• Hands-on experience with programming languages such as React, C#, JavaScript, Java, Go, or Python
