Senior Application Security Researcher

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr Application Security Researcher.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research on application security to enhance runtime products
• Define and drive research projects independently or collaboratively
• Engage with product teams and customers to identify new research initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Software background in Java and .NET; experience with NodeJS, Python, and Ruby is a plus
• Ability to develop and exploit purposefully vulnerable applications
• Understanding of OWASP Top 10 and SANS/CWE Top 25
• 5+ years of experience in application security research, pen-testing, or consulting
• Knowledge of cloud hosting environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, etc.)
