Senior Application Support Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Application Support Engineer - SQL Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and support for web applications, troubleshooting and resolving complex issues
• Utilize Microsoft SQL Server to analyze, optimize, and troubleshoot database performance issues
• Collaborate with teams to support and monitor Azure environments, ensuring optimal application performance

Required Qualifications

• Extensive experience supporting web applications in Windows server, IIS, and Azure environments
• Strong understanding of Microsoft SQL, including database management and T-SQL querying
• Experience with application monitoring tools, preferably Application Insights or similar
• Previous experience in a lead or supervisory role with the ability to guide a team of analysts
• Passion for staying current with technologies related to web application support and cloud computing
