Senior Configuration Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Configuration Manager.

Responsibilities

• Manage configuration programs to ensure proposed and actual changes to technology and documentation are properly staffed, approved, and tracked
• Facilitate the change notification process for updating products and technology
• Maintain accurate records of configuration changes and updates throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, engineering management, math, or a related field
• 5 years of experience in configuration management or a related role
• 8 additional years of relevant experience may substitute for the educational requirement
• Deep understanding of configuration management methodologies, processes, and best practices
• Proficiency with version control tools such as Git, SVN, or Mercurial
