Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to support the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for VA corporate IT applications
• Engineer and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure platforms, ensuring security and compliance
• Conduct security assessments and collaborate with team members to integrate security practices into Agile sprints

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Master's preferred)
• One active certification required: AWS Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer, or ISC2 CISSP
• 8+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, cloud infrastructure, or cybersecurity, preferably in federal environments
• Proven expertise in CI/CD pipeline development and hands-on experience with tools like Terraform and Jenkins
• Familiarity with VA security standards and the VIP Lean-Agile framework is highly desirable
