Senior Embedded Linux Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Embedded Linux Engineer to join their hardware/firmware team building high-performance, ruggedized, Linux-based platforms for digital forensics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, debug, and maintain embedded Linux software components including custom kernel modules, device tree overlays, U-Boot configuration, and init systems
• Collaborate with hardware engineering to support new board bring-up and debug complex system-level issues
• Drive the full lifecycle of Linux driver development, ensuring end-to-end integration with application-layer software

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Embedded Linux development
• Strong C programming skills
• Experience with kernel module development and debugging tools
• Familiarity with Linux build systems such as buildroot, Yocto, or PetaLinux
• Comfortable with hardware schematics and logic analyzers for driver bring-up
