Senior Kubernetes Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Engineer II (DOKS) who is passionate about Kubernetes and eager to enhance their managed Kubernetes solution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop the DigitalOcean Managed Kubernetes product and back-end gRPC services in Go
• Independently lead projects and raise the bar for Operational Excellence
• Contribute to open-source projects and interact with customers to understand their needs

Required Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of Kubernetes internals and Go
• Experience operating Kubernetes platforms at scale
• Ability to drive complex projects from inception through completion
• Experience designing back-end services and authoring engineering design documents
• Familiarity with distributed systems and operational best practices
