Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer - DB2.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide DB2 sysprog support, including database maintenance, upgrades, and tuning
• Fulfill customer service orders and provide primary support for DB2-related issues
• Assist in customer migration services and execute disaster recovery tasks

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience in DB2 administration and systems programming support
• Experience with SMP/e and configuring DB2 in a parallel sysplex environment
• Knowledge of software management best practices and DB2 security
• Experience with reviewing and tuning DB2 performance and SQL code
