Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer (z/OS-Network) to manage mainframe systems and networking tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain Connect:Direct (NDM), MSM, and InterTest Batch using SMP/E
• Design and develop utilities (REXX) to enhance process efficiency
• Troubleshoot network connection issues and support a redundant TCPIP network

Required Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience with z/OS mainframe communications
• 7+ years of experience with TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP, along with core networking protocols
• 7+ years of experience in secure data transmission management with firewalls and VPNs
• 7+ years of experience with JCL, UNIX Shell, and network monitoring tools
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
