Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer - zOS.

Key Responsibilities

• Support installation, testing, and implementation of new z/OS operating systems and system software
• Monitor and tune systems software, including incident and problem resolution
• Participate in on-call schedules and contribute to technical projects

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in a mainframe environment or equivalent education and experience
• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience
• Knowledge of z/OS installation and maintenance, including SMP/E
• Working knowledge of TSO/ISPF, SDSF, JCL, and Unix System Services (USS)
• Ability to work effectively as a team member and under stress during major incidents
