Senior Manager of EHS

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Manager, Environment, Health & Safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert on safety, chemical hygiene, biosafety, and environmental management
• Implement and update EHS programs to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Lead site safety committees, conduct hazard assessments, and manage the EHS incident management system

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Minimum of 9 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 7 years with a Master's degree, or a PhD with 4 years of experience
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
• Technical knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations and guidelines
• Ability to work flexible hours to support a 24/7 facility
• Experience in a GMP environment and biotechnology processes is preferred
