A company is looking for a Payer Relations Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with insurance payers to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement for skilled nursing services
- Verify patient insurance benefits, obtain prior authorizations, and resolve issues related to insurance coverage
- Collaborate with admissions, billing, and clinical teams to ensure compliance with insurance requirements and optimize revenue cycle outcomes
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of five years of prior related experience required
- Prior experience in payroll in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting highly preferred
- Must possess a strong work ethic and be a team player
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior
