Senior Medical Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior/Executive Medical Director, Clinical Development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the medical lead for CAR T-cell therapy clinical trials and support the transition of preclinical projects to clinical development
• Lead design, execution, and interpretation of clinical trials while providing medical and scientific input into clinical development plans and regulatory submissions
• Engage with external investigators to support investigator-sponsored studies and drive research collaborations

Required Qualifications:

• MD (or ex-US equivalent) or MD-PhD degree required; advanced degree or research experience in immunology preferred
• 7+ years of clinical research experience with at least 4 years in late phase clinical development
• Specialty training in neurology, rheumatology, nephrology, or experience in clinical development of therapeutics in autoimmune diseases is preferred
• Proven ability to interpret and present efficacy and safety data
• Working knowledge of GCP/ICH, clinical trial design, and regulatory requirements
