Senior Network Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Communications / Network Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a subject matter expert in wireless technologies, including routers, switches, and access points
• Lead design, implementation, and testing of new network infrastructure and services
• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced network issues using various diagnostic tools

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4+ years of experience, or 8+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Intermediate knowledge of Wi-Fi technologies and IEEE wireless standards (802.11)
• Experience with routing and switching protocols (OSPF, BGP, MPLS)
• Hands-on experience with security protocols and firewall management
• Familiarity with network analyzers such as Wireshark
