Senior Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to lead the development of a modern cloud-native technology platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable, secure microservices and libraries using Python and Azure API Management
• Engineer the end-to-end data platform, including data ingestion and transformation pipelines on Databricks
• Implement and manage complex data flows using Azure Data Factory and guide the modernization of legacy systems

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software or data engineering with a focus on complex, data-intensive applications
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in building scalable backend services and APIs in Python
• Proficient in engineering data solutions on the Databricks Lakehouse Platform
• Strong understanding of Azure cloud services, including ADF, APIM, SQL MI, and CosmosDB
• Experience mentoring others and leading complex projects
