Senior Project Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Project Manager to support the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) Program Management Support Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to contractor project management staff while mentoring team members
• Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including NHLBI senior management
• Create and maintain project artifacts, including implementation plans, schedules, and milestone tracking materials

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science, public health, business, or project management required; Master's degree preferred
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
• Operational program/project management experience with HHS required
• Minimum of 10 years of demonstrable experience in portfolio, program, and project management support
• If degree is not in a science-related field, at least 5 years of experience must be in a biomedical, pharmaceutical, biotech, academic medical center, or health-related organization
