Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Security Engineer who will be responsible for the engineering, design, implementation, maintenance, monitoring, analysis, and administration of security solutions and events.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a robust security technology strategy for cloud and datacenter environments
• Recommend, implement, configure, and maintain technical security solutions to protect information assets
• Manage current security threats and solutions to ensure environments are properly secured, monitored, and documented

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Information Systems, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience, or 7 years of demonstrable work in the information security field
• Proven work experience as a system security engineer or information security engineer
• Experience securing multi public cloud environments
• Strong understanding of public cloud infrastructure and services, particularly in AWS and Azure
• One or more relevant security certifications preferred, such as CISSP, SANS GIAC, or CEH
