Senior Spatial Database Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Spatial Database Administrator - SENIOR.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise geospatial and alphanumeric databases
• Administer Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL/PostGIS instances and implement workflows for spatial data editing and security compliance
• Collaborate with data engineers and GIS specialists to ensure database reliability, security, and performance

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience with enterprise geospatial databases (MS SQL Server and PostGIS/PostgreSQL)
• At least 3 years of experience publishing and managing geospatial web services
• Demonstrated expertise in SQL, T-SQL, and/or PL/pgSQL
• Experience with performance tuning and database configuration
• Familiarity with cloud-based geospatial services (Azure or AWS preferred)
