Site Reliability Engineer - Database

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - Database.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize SQL and NoSQL database systems to improve availability, latency, and scalability
• Design and implement automation for database provisioning and maintenance using scripting and infrastructure tools
• Set up and refine monitoring systems to ensure visibility into database health and performance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering roles with production database systems
• Solid experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including query optimization and failover strategies
• Proficient in Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages, with experience in CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code tools
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and container orchestration tools
