SOX Compliance Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a SOX Compliance Consultant to lead compliance initiatives in IT environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SOX readiness activities for new and existing applications
• Act as a second line of defense, ensuring compliance alignment with product owners and auditors
• Assess IT controls and support documentation to ensure audit readiness for SOX compliance

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in SOX IT compliance initiatives
• Strong understanding of the second line of defense in compliance and risk management
• Experience with both in-house systems and SaaS products
• Organized with strong project management skills
• Certifications such as CPA, CISA, CRISC, or CIA are a plus
