Oncology Medical Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Director (Part-Time).

Key Responsibilities

• Performs prior authorization reviews of chemotherapy treatment requests, including peer-to-peer consultations
• Engages in quality improvement activities focused on accuracy, efficiency, and the uptake of emerging evidence
• Acts as a clinical expert for strategic initiatives related to real-world oncology data and analytics

Required Qualifications

• Medical Doctor or comparable degree required
• Board certification in an oncology-focused specialty and current unrestricted Medical Doctor license in good standing in the U.S
• 3 years of post-training clinical practice experience
• Able to work 20 hours per week
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
