A company is looking for a Staff Fraud Analyst who is passionate about hunting and minimizing fraud in the Cloud.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead proactive fraud and abuse hunts at scale by analyzing patterns in customer behavior and financial data
- Investigate sophisticated abuse scenarios and partner with engineering teams to implement fraud mitigations
- Monitor and own metrics related to fraud loss and mitigation efficacy, sharing insights with stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in fraud analysis, risk operations, or abuse prevention in a high-scale environment
- Deep familiarity with fraud tactics and strong analytical skills, including proficiency in SQL and data warehouse querying
- Comfort working in complex software environments and understanding cloud-native services
- Customer-first mindset aimed at maximizing fraud prevention while minimizing impact to legitimate users
- High integrity, strong judgment, and a track record of working independently on high-impact investigations
