Staff Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff ML Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, train, and deploy machine learning models, particularly LLMs, from research to production
• Fine-tune open-weight language models and build scalable Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate business needs into ML solutions and maintain code quality

Required Qualifications

• 6-7+ years of experience in ML or applied AI
• Proven ability to take GenAI/ML products from ideation to production
• Strong experience with fine-tuning LLMs and familiarity with related techniques
• Proficiency in Python and experience with production-grade systems
• Startup or high-performance tech background preferred; finance or fintech experience is a plus
