Staff Performance Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Performance Engineer to enhance performance, scale, and reliability for mission-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and resolve performance, scale, and reliability issues
• Define best-in-class architecture for core products and related tools
• Mentor team members and assist in troubleshooting and incident response

Required Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field/experience
• 3+ years of experience with highly performant HTTP/WebSocket applications in Go
• 3+ years of experience developing and tuning PostgreSQL for performance and scale
• Expertise in architectural decision-making for complex projects
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, E2E testing, and cloud infrastructure
