Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer, Metrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and efficient infrastructure tailored to customer needs
• Lead maintenance and monitoring of existing services, executing improvements for performance and reliability
• Participate in team-wide rotations to address customer support issues and site outages

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, focusing on data platforms and/or distributed systems
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Typescript)
• Extensive experience designing and scaling customer-facing APIs in production environments
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and major cloud providers (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure)
