Job Summary

A company is looking for a Per Diem, Hematopathologist.

Key Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic interpretation and sign out of flow cytometry and FISH cases
• Reads and interprets laboratory data while ensuring quality control and assurance procedures
• Provides expertise to technologists and serves as a Delegated Clinical Consultant when assigned

Required Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. degree with board certification/eligibility in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Hematopathology preferred
• At least five (5) years of attending level experience in hematopathology is strongly encouraged
• Active and unrestricted Medical License in the state of residence required; TX and NY licenses preferred
• Proven track record as a productive member of a multi-disciplinary team
• Experience using an automated laboratory information system (LIS) with online transcription and reporting
