Job Summary

A company is looking for a Peer Reviewer (Non-physician).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical expertise to conduct comprehensive peer reviews of selected episodes of care
• Access electronic health information and make clinical judgments based on experience and evidence-based standards
• Document all review information as instructed

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Licensed by a state licensing board or hold a certification according to industry standards
• In active practice in the specialty or subspecialty of the case being reviewed, at least 20 hours per month
• Actively seeing patients in the specialty/subspecialty area within the last 3 years
• Current, verifiable credentials
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in the clinical area
