Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Counsel, Executive Compensation & Employee Benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on ERISA and non-ERISA employee benefit plans and executive compensation
- Draft and review plan documents, board resolutions, and provide compliance counseling
- Engage with the Compensation Committee and manage legal aspects of executive compensation programs
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in employee benefits and executive compensation law
- Deep knowledge of ERISA and related tax laws
- Bachelor's and Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited institution
- Admission in good standing in at least one state bar
- Familiarity with employee benefits issues in mergers and acquisitions
