System Safety Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a System Safety Engineer to support system safety implementation and oversight for DoD system programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive system safety programs and tasks on various systems, including unmanned systems and missile systems
• Analyze data and develop technical reports, Safety Assessment Reports, and other safety documentation
• Verify compliance with safety requirements and assist in improving processes within the system safety discipline

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in engineering, EOD and ordnance operations, or system safety program implementation
• Experience with MIL-STD-882 safety analyses
• Secret clearance required
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to organize and facilitate technical meetings and working groups
