Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Engineer, Hardware Design - Optics.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop specifications for complex fiber optics transceiver modules and systems
• Collaborate with R&D teams on datacenter network switch connectivity using fiber optics components
• Perform characterization and qualification of high-speed optical transceivers and support product development efforts

Required Qualifications and Education

• 10+ years of experience in fiber optic communication and hardware product development
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering; Master's degree preferred
• Strong multidisciplinary background with self-motivation
• Experience with high-speed pluggable transceiver form-factors and MSAs
• Familiarity with high-speed electrical and optical test equipment
