Tennessee Licensed Appeals Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Appeals Specialist II - RN/LPN (REMOTE).

Key Responsibilities

• Review and resolve pre-pay insurance denials in collaboration with follow-up teams
• Educate and hold payers accountable by working closely with denial coordinators and facility liaisons
• Consult with management on process development and recommend necessary changes

Required Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle or business office required
• 1-3 years of experience in healthcare insurance medical billing preferred
• RN/LPN license required
