Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Disability Claims Examiner.

Key Responsibilities

• Determines medical eligibility for disability benefits using various data sources
• Conducts interviews with claimants to clarify information and expedite claims processing
• Reviews and analyzes applications and medical records for disability claims

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and three years of experience in SSA disability claims examination
• Substitution of experience for education is acceptable on a year-for-year basis
• Completion of a federal background check is required
• Ability to work independently with a high degree of responsibility
• Experience with medical assessments and vocational evaluations is preferred
