Job Summary

A company is looking for a Stenographer/Court Reporter to join their team in a flexible contractor capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce and deliver high-quality, verbatim transcripts of depositions, hearings, and legal proceedings
• Use CAT software and transcription tools to scope, proofread, and finalize transcripts
• Ensure compliance with state court reporting requirements and industry best practices

Required Qualifications

• Current Texas Certified Shorthand Reporter (CSR) license (required)
• Familiarity with Texas-specific procedural rules or legal terminology
• Experience with CAT software and digital audio tools
• Ability to self-manage multiple deadlines in a remote environment
• Experience working with legal marketplaces, agencies, or remote-first teams
