A company is looking for a Triage Specialist to assess and prioritize incoming cases efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Review referrals to identify high dollar concerns and case management needs
- Create cases in a computer software program and maintain detailed documentation
- Provide administrative support to assigned nurses and monitor high dollar cases
Required Qualifications
- Medical terminology course preferred
- Prior experience in customer service and/or medical background
- Prior insurance and/or claims background
- Associate degree preferred in business, management, or related field
- Experience in a medical front office or hospital patient intake
