Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in behavioral health and demonstrate expertise in patient assessment, behavioral therapy, and medical documentation. This role involves working closely with children and individuals on the autism spectrum, providing tailored interventions to improve their quality of life. The BCBA will collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to develop effective treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
Candidates who are or were previously credentialed under Tricare and Medicaid recieve up to 5 dollars per hour more!!!
Candidates living in or near San Antonio, TX a must (this in on the off chance that insurance requires an in-person family guidance or an in-person supervision session)
Our company values employee happiness and work-life balance! In this role, you will choose how many cases you want to take on, so long as each case you choose recieves 10% minimum supervision per week. This position has the option of providing in-person supervision as well as providing fully remote supervision. We also require one hour family guidances per family each month (minimum).
Additionally, our company believes that patients learn best when they are happy, relaxed, and engaged. We also believe in parent support and RBT training, providing monthly parent nights (video), monthly field trips for patient’s, therapists, and families, and bi-weekly RBT training. These will be optional, but are open to all BCBAs and RBTs to attend.
Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement and monitor behavioral therapy interventions in accordance with best practices and ethical guidelines.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation related to patient care and progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients, including communication with families regarding treatment goals and progress.
• Provide training and support to parents, caregivers, and staff on behavior management techniques.
• Stay current with developments in the field of behavioral health, including new research and techniques relevant to working with children on the autism spectrum.
Experience
• Proven experience in patient assessment, medical terminology, and behavioral therapy is essential.
• Familiarity with medical documentation practices and maintaining accurate medical records is required.
• Experience working with children, particularly those diagnosed with autism or other developmental disorders, is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration with families and other healthcare professionals.
• A commitment to providing compassionate patient care while adhering to ethical standards in behavioral health practices is crucial.
